What we collect

We collect your email address, your conversations with Kemkio (your AI friend), and a profile we build from those conversations (interests, communication style, openness). We do not collect payment information in v1.

Why we collect it

Your conversations help us understand who you are so we can match you with a compatible human to talk to. This is the core purpose of Kemkio. We also use your email to send you sign-in links and (optionally) re-engagement messages.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data under explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) of UK GDPR). Your conversations may contain health-adjacent or sensitive personal information, and we treat all conversation data as special category data accordingly.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 7 days.

Your rights

• Access your data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time (by deleting your account)
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

Who sees your data

Your conversations are sent to Anthropic (who powers Kemkio) for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing. We do not sell your data. We do not share your profile with advertisers.
